‘A mind-blowing twist… My heart is broken, my heart is full, my heart is just a little all over the place… A powerful, truly life impacting story of resilience, that I think so many people are going to connect with deeply’ Reader review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
‘There are twists in this book that you will not see coming. There are insights and gems of sentences that will take your breath away. Whenever I read a Jodi Picoult book, I feel like I am having a conversation with an old friend who comes up with ways to make me think differently about life. This book is an absolute recommend!!!!!’Reader review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Diana O’Toole’s life is going perfectly to plan. At twenty-nine, she’s up for promotion to her dream job as an art specialist at Sotheby’s and she’s about to fly to the Galápagos where she’s convinced her surgeon boyfriend, Finn, is going to propose.
But then the virus hits New York City and Finn breaks the news: the hospital needs him, he has to stay. But you should still go, he insists. And reluctantly, she agrees.
Once she’s in the Galápagos, the world shuts down around her, leaving Diana stranded – albeit in paradise. Completely isolated, with only intermittent news from the outside world, Diana finds herself examining everything that has brought her to this point and wondering if there’s a better way to live.
But not everything is as it seems…
Everyone is gripped by Wish You Were Here:
‘Wow!! Wish You Were Here is so GOOD!! Such an intense page turner!!! It was very hard to put down… About halfway through the book, Jodi threw in a total shocker and it was so intense and so unexpected! This book kept me on the edge of my seat. A fantastic book!’ Reader review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
‘I loved this book… This book made me feel understood. not alone. Helped me make sense of some of the things I’ve been feeling but didn’t know how to articulate. Surprised me… Made me reflect. Made me thankful’ Reader review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
‘There is one heck of a twist in this novel, and when it hits, it brings with it not only the emotional sucker punches, but also a deep and thought-provoking message… The imagery of loss, grief and tragedy obviously run deep in this novel but it also brings with it messages of love, hope and positivity. Beautifully written, with great characters and a plot is packed to the brim with emotion, Wish You Were Here will resonate with absolutely everyone‘ Reader review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
‘A powerfully evocative story of the resilience and triumph of the human spirit’ Taylor Jenkins Reid
‘Extraordinary . . . it’s such a great book’ Graham Norton

Picoult is at her best when bringing the magnificence of the Galapagos to life in all its strange and colourful glory... A few hours after finishing Wish You Were Here I broke down in tears... This is a book worth reading, a book which reminds us that our futures are not guaranteed or inevitable
