Our programme takes 10 trainees through every step of the publishing industry, from pitch to distribution.
Designed to make publishing more accessible to under-represented groups as part of our vision for Changing the Story, we welcome applications from everyone. It’s important for us to uphold our commitment to diversifying our business and improving representation.
As a trainee, you spend an entire year within one of the trade divisions or our education business. You’ll specialise in either editorial, marketing and publicity, or rights. Some of our trainees even spend a month in Curtis Brown or Waterstones.
