‘What the??? Where do I start? Seriously, Sister Dear is one dark and twisted psychological thriller and I couldn’t put it down! I stayed up way to late to start and finish it last night, so today I am looking a bit like a panda! But it was absolutely worth it’ Reader review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Beauty. Wealth. Success. She’s got it all… and it all should’ve been mine…
When Eleanor Hardwicke’s beloved father dies, her world is further shattered by the discovery of a gut-wrenching secret: the man she’s grieving isn’t her biological dad.
With her personal life spiralling, a desperate Eleanor seeks out the family she never knew she had, and discovers she has a half-sister.
Perfect Victoria has everything Eleanor could ever dream of. Loving childhood, luxury home, devoted husband. And this gets Eleanor thinking – aren’t good sisters supposed to share?
Everyone is gripped by Sister Dear:
‘BRILLIANT, well-executed and is as DARK as it is TWISTY. I devoured it in two nights and was immediately sucked into the story from the first page… Will have you gasping until the very last page with its twists and turns – that you won’t see coming… Will have you turning pages faster than you thought possible’ Reader review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
‘What the hell! This is nerve bending! This is so twisty!… This is dark, intense!… And guess what! I’m sitting on the edge my couch! I’m cursing the end, cursing the characters, hardly gathering my words to write something meaningful but as you can see my emotions are everywhere! This book ruined me!‘

Reviews
SISTER DEAR is a sinister adventure into a labyrinth of family secrets and lies
Sinister, simmering, cinematic - and absolutely riveting. The oh-so-talented Hannah Mary McKinnon skillfully and cleverly twists and turns this unstoppable story of envy and obsession - and powers it to a gasp-worthy conclusion. Wow - standing ovation!
SISTER DEAR is as unexpected as it is thought provoking. It's a story about the meaning of family, the corruption of wealth, and the needs inside us that sneak up and take over our lives. The twisty ending was well paved and clever, but also a testament to McKinnon's uncanny insight into family relationships. This is domestic noir that should be at the top of your list
As layered as puff pastry, and just as delightful, SISTER DEAR is an altogether unpredictable and surprising read. What begins as a slow-burn exploration of love, loss and grief shifts about midway through into a dark and twisted tale of secrets and revenge. These are some of the most wicked characters I've read in a long time, where deception is the standard and nothing is as it seems. If you think you know what will happen, guess again, because the final outcome is so profoundly shocking, the twist so unexpected, I didn't see it coming. A wickedly dark and addictive read following themes of good and bad, and asking if good always triumphs
I love it when books convince you of the path, and you're so certain of how it's going to end . . . but I was completely wrong! And that was brilliant! You won't see it coming but it leaves you feeling satisfyingly on edge
