Empathy has never been needed more. Empathy Day helps young people learn about empathy and put it into action. It’s based on scientific research showing that empathy is learnable and that books are a powerful empathy-building tool.

How schools can join in

This year’s theme is empathy, our human superpower. EmpathyLab offers schools, libraries and families superb free, creative resources.
