About Giraffes Can’t Dance:

Celebrate being exactly who you are and dancing to your own tune with the bestselling picture book Giraffes Can’t Dance by Giles Andreae and Guy Parker-Rees. It has been a family favourite for over 20 years and is a perfect way to introduce KS1 children to the concept of confidence, identity and community in a fun, accessible way – that always ends in a jungle dance!

Gerald the tall giraffe would love to join in with the other animals at the Jungle Dance, but everyone knows that giraffes can’t dance… or can they? A family favourite for over 20 years, Giraffes Can’t Dance is a funny, touching and triumphant story about being yourself and finding your own tune, by bestselling creators Giles Andreae and Guy Parker-Rees.
