AQA GCSE (9-1) Business: Analysing financial performance – Student Resource Pack

This unique and comprehensive student resource pack can be shared with students as a complete resource, allowing them to work through the topic at their own pace, with activities built in to develop students’ understanding of the topic and allow them to apply it in practice.

Within this pack, students will have access to a PowerPoint presentation enhanced with audio commentary from Samuel Stones to help them build the subject knowledge and understanding they need for success, including links to additional activities, questions and tasks. The PowerPoint presentation begins with an overview of analysing financial performance, and covers the topic in three parts:

– Part 1 – Purpose of financial statements
– Part 2 – Components of financial statements
– Part 3 – Interpreting financial statements

The PowerPoint presentation is rounded off by a final knowledge check with exam-style questions. The presentation is accompanied by resources, including:

– Activities around Financial Statements, Income Statements and Assets and Liability for students to complete, using and developing their knowledge recall and mathematics skills
