Prophet of the West

An essential new biography of the Prophet Mohamed, showing how his values aligned more with those of the contemporary and historical West than most of his detractors and supporters currently think.

Prophet of the West explores how several main themes of modernity intersect with classical Islam, and shows why Islam and the West are not inherently at odds. Just as many in the West do not understand the Prophet, today many Muslims have also forgotten the liberal spirit of the founder of their faith. This book will re-introduce the Prophet to the modern world.
