Hachette UK creates Group Marketing Team to be led by Alexandra Cooper
13 November, London UK – Hachette UK has appointed Alexandra Cooper as Group Marketing Director. She will take up the role in the new year, based at Hachette UK’s headquarters in Carmelite House, and report to Maura Wilding, Group Communications Director.
Alex Cooper is currently Group Marketing Director at Little, Brown, one of Hachette UK’s publishing divisions, and Co-chair of the Sustainability Network. She joined Little, Brown in 2014 as Head of Digital Marketing and Consumer Insight and was swiftly promoted to Marketing Director the following year. In her time there she has worked on campaigns for J.K. Rowling, Robert Galbraith and Rebecca Yarros. Prior to joining Little, Brown she was Digital Marketing Manager at Ebury Publishing.
In her new role Alex will establish and lead a central Group Marketing team at Hachette UK, focussed on developing and implementing innovative marketing strategies that drive sales across all formats. The team will work closely with the divisional marketing teams across Hachette UK, and with Hachette UK’s Consumer Insight team, to ensure Hachette’s marketing is best-in-class.
