Heartstopper by Alice Oseman is a wonderfully sweet LGBTQ+ graphic novel series about Nick and Charlie, two school boys who become friends and fall in love. The series is sweet, funny and sensitively tackles topics like coming out and mental health.
These resources are based on Volumes One, Two and Three of Heartstopper and have been created by SHAPES for Schools to help open up discussion around equality, diversity and representation of LGBTQ+ relationships in the media and society. Ideal for PSHE and RSE lessons, as well as LGBTQ+ History and Pride Month activities.
Plus, share this interview with Alice Oseman in class, as they answer your questions.
