Joelle Avelino

Joelle Avelino is a British Congolese and Angolan illustrator whose work celebrates diversity and representation in art and storytelling. A graduate of the University of Hertfordshire, she has illustrated acclaimed titles including Mama’s Sleeping Scarf by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and Hey You! by Dapo Adeola.
