Harper Calloway is reality TV producer looking for a comeback
Gabriel Hargrave is the vampire prince prophesied to lose control
She wants him to be the first vampire on America’s favourite dating show
He wants . . . her
Gabriel Hargrave, vampire crown prince, should be sitting on a throne right now. Instead, he’s on ‘diplomatic assignment’ – forced to live amongst humans for a decade. He’ll be welcomed back once he proves he can control the thirst prophesied to bring about his destruction. Gabriel thought he was doing the right thing, lying low in the last place anyone would look for him: a SoCal retirement community. But then he gets a warning: there is no test without exposure. Coincidentally, temptation just came knocking.
Harper Calloway makes great television. As the brains behind all the greatest moments on Rare Pair: America’s Most Exceptional Dating Experiment, she thought she was irreplaceable until one bitter male lead got her fired. Down and out, she takes a house-sitting gig for her grandmother and stumbles upon the answer to all her problems in the vampire next door. If she can deliver Gabriel – poised to be the first vampire on a reality dating show – to the network, she’ll get the only thing she wants more than her job back: redemption.
The problem? Gabriel doesn’t fit the dark and dangerous fantasy of a vampire prince; the only thing he’s got less experience with than dating is drinking blood. Harper has her work cut out for her when the network gives her three weeks to get him ready to woo advertisers as the face of next season. If he flops, she’s going down with him.
Perfect for fans of:
– angsty vampire princes
– ‘just this once’
– slow burn that sizzles
– reality tv romance with a twist
– idiots to lovers
– workplace romance
– vampires who yearn

Reviews
Rosie Danan's Villain Edit is a steamy, modern, and witty spin on vampire romance that had me swooning and kicking my feet! I loved the reality show twist this book brought to the paranormal romance genre, and Gabriel and Harper are so easy to root for. Filled with hilarity, heat, and heart, Rosie's readers are in for a real treat!
A sparklingly fresh, unapologetically steamy treat for vampire romance fans!
Villain Edit's fascinating take on vampire lore contrasts against the shiny modernity of reality television production in a way that feels fresh, unique, and hard to put down. Rosie writes charming, nuanced, sympathetically flawed characters whose happily ever after feels deeply earned. Steamy, sweet, and sharp. I loved this!
Full of wit, heat, and abundant insight into her two vastly sympathetic leads - human workaholic Harper and vampire prince Gabriel, both lost and lonely until they find each other - Rosie Danan's Villain Edit is tenderly romantic and endlessly incisive. I loved this story as much as Harper loves fountain Diet Coke (i.e., to a borderline concerning extent), and I can't wait to read whatever Rosie writes next!
This book plays with the delicious archetype of tall, dark, quiet and handsome (but he's also an exiled vampire crown prince) and masterfully inserts it into the modern world of reality tv; delivering a tension-filled romp where temptation is the main character you will root for. Danan proves once again she's one of the greatest voices in romance, and I can tell Villain Edit is an ode to her love for the genre - and vampires. You'll want to sink your teeth in this one
