Winterset Hollow is the rarest kind of masterpiece and one of the most original works of horror that I've ever read. It wears the skin of a children's classic, but its blood and bones are dark as hell. Its cast of Beatrix Potteresque characters are drawn so beautifully, they'll live in my head forever - Phineas Fox is, hands down, one of my favourite characters of all time. Jonathan Edward Durham has created something truly special.
Winterset Hollow is of the most interesting books I've read in years...astonishingly powerful and multilayered!
