Reviews
An enjoyable read and a promising debut novel.
This perceptive novel does the mothers-and-daughters thing in page-turning style . . . Be sure that your bookmark is a hankie
An emotional roller-coaster of a read.
The attitudes of these strong-minded women and their generations are masterfully captured
I enjoyed this novel very much
A very beautiful and very moving story
This is a remarkable first novel, rich and deep and full of wonderfully realized characters. Oh, these women!
A really really good book. One of the best I have read for you. I could identify with so much... It had everything going for it. It was well written with well rounded characters and a very good story to boot! Marks: 9/10. I am almost tempted to give it a 10/10!
A thoughtful first novel about mothers, daughters and lovers.
