As a recent starter, I already feel as if the company has committed to invest in me. I’m a Creative Director, and I love that no day is ever the same. Sometimes my day-to-day involves getting granular and technical, and then at other times I’m zooming out and trying to solve the bigger picture.

 

Hachette feels different to a lot of other employers because there’s a real commitment to the pillars which make up our definition of what ‘good’ is. I never have to second guess what my line manager is expecting from me, or how I should approach the decision-making processes I use every day. We make stationary, games and books… the pillars help to bind this diversity together without losing sight that difference is a strength.
