The rhyming text is wonderfully fun and the progress of the bull through the farmyard will keep young children engaged. The illustrations, too, are colourful and detailed with plenty to draw on about animals and the work that takes place in farmyards. The text also offers lots of opportunity to work on rhyming words, and phonics, and for encouraging children to create their own farmyard rhymes.
