A lovely story about friendship and about going to school.
Any indpendently minded child who doesn't like to follow the crowd, will love this book. Every page is illustrated with gorgeous, black, grey and orange pictures, which capture daily life in a coastal school perfectly. A treat for the 6 or 7-year old child who is crossing the bridge to independent reading, or as a quick read aloud in the KS1 classroom when discussing friendship issues.
