Another great book from Jen. I frequently use sheets from the previous Anxiety workbook and know this one will be as invaluable in helping clients tap into those emotions that have been hidden away. I particularly like the ideas of how to apply the worksheets to particular issues, a really good balance of the creative and abstract ideas alongside the practical tips and suggestions.
Once again Jennifer has produced an invaluable resource that is not only useful for therapists within their practice but also for personal use away from the therapy room. Knowing how resourceful and powerful previous worksheets have been and how they helped so many people, I'm now looking forward to taking this activity book into my counselling sessions so that clients can express themselves easier when it becomes difficult to say things out loud.
This is a useful book for clients as they evaluate past, present and future events and subsequent ways of thinking. The book directs a person to think about their 'self' from a fresh perspective. A better present may emerge as one moves away from the feeling of the past , enabling a more hopeful, less anxious feeling for the future. A helpful CBT aid which some clients may enjoy between and after counselling sessions. Easy to follow exercises.
