If you start reading this book, you'd better free up some time till you're done because you won't want anything to distract you. 'Beautiful Liars' is an expertly plotted and compelling story, with friendship at its core and an intriguing mystery that has haunted its characters, blighting their lives for years.

Beautiful Liars is a psychological thriller, but it's a lot more than that, too - it explores themes of friendship, of memory, of our pasts and of the lengths we'll go to in order to belong. This is a great character-driven mystery that's as enjoyable as it is satisfying.
I absolutely loved Beautiful Liars - it genuinely gripped me immediately as it was so fantastically written with intriguing, vivid characters and I couldn't wait to see how it would all unfold. Brilliant twists which I most definitely did not see coming!
Beautiful Liars is a real cracker of a book. I lost count of the twists and yet each worked perfectly. Ashdown is brilliant at hiding clues in plain sight, making for a gasp-out-loud, deeply satisfying read. Her books are getting better and better, which is no mean feat.
