In addition to being a 'how to' manual for art and dramatherapy, this book is a melange of autobiography, anthropology, psychoanalysis, case reports, cross-cultural analysis, art reproduction, poetry, literary quotation, and mythology.
There is energy, creativeness and richness of imagery in this book...The book is well referenced and relevant theoretical concepts are explained...there is some very good sound advice...on many different issues.
This book breaks new ground. This is a well researched study for the serious therapist. But it is also intelligible and stimulating for the non-specialist. Throughout the book there is a generous sprinkling of black and white illustrations. It is a reference book for inspiration a well as information.
