SF Gateway: The Week in Blog Posts

Welcome to your weekly round-up of what’s been happening over at the SF Gateway, our sister site devoted to classic science fiction . . .

On Monday, I reminisced about discovering the works of the late, great Bob Shaw, author of this week’s Editors’ Choice, A Wreath of Stars.

Danger, Will Robinson! On Tuesday we blogged about the most influential anthology of all time, Harlan Ellison‘s groundbreaking Dangerous Visions.

Who says you can’t judge a book by its cover? Wednesday’s piece was a celebration of SF art (and a happy birthday to Vincent Di Fate).

On Thursday, we reminded you that YOU ONLY HAVE  A WEEK LEFT TO VOTE IN THE LOCUS SURVEY!  Seriously, people: this is a survey to find the best SF and Fantasy of the 20th and 21st centuries – don’t whinge about the results if you’re not prepared to vote for your favourites!

And finally, on Friday, we teased you with some first lines from SF Gateway eBooks and mocked some prudish pirates. And now . . . onwards to the weekend!

We’re contractually obliged to remind you that you can subscribe to the SF Gateway blog here or follow us on Twitter, Facebook or Pinterest.  Done? OK, move along. Nothing more to see here.
