I’ve loved getting stuck in on initiatives to improve representation across the business and finding fun ways to champion authors and staff of colour . . . . it’s been really rewarding playing a hand in driving change.
My advice would be to join at least one of the employee networks – they’re a great way to connect with others from around the business and to build contacts outside of your division. And they present fun opportunities to form friendships with like-minded people who are passionate about the same causes as you are.
