Kate Bolden

Growing up in Australia, Kate Bolden could usually be found hiding from the sun with her head in a book. At 21, she travelled to Scotland with her best friend in search of an adventure. It turned out Glasgow had lovely people, great music, and the correct amount of sun. It was perfect, so she stayed. She writes for all ages, but has a particular love of picture books, and a captive audience/critic in her daughter. Her middle grade story, Lottie Larkin’s Magical Mishap was shortlisted for the Kelpies Prize.
