Claire Bloom

Claire Bloom was born in London and made her first appearance on the stage with the OxfordRepertory Company at the age of 16. Her most notable stage roles include Juliet, Ophelia, and Cornelia at The Old Vic, Nora in A DOLL’S HOUSE and Blanche du Bois in A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE (Evening Standard Award). Her films include LOOK BACK IN ANGER, THE SPY WHO CAME IN FROM THE COLD and Woody Allen¿s CRIMES AND MISDEMEANORS. Television credits include BRIDESHEAD REVISITED and SHADOWLANDS (BAFTA award). Claire has also read numerous audiobooks in the USA and the UK.
