TERMS AND CONDITIONS: WIN A JAMES VILLA HOLIDAYS VOUCHER WITH THE WOMEN WHO RAN AWAY BY SHEILA O’FLANAGAN
- 1. This is a competition to win a £500 James Villa Holidays voucher with THE WOMEN WHO RAN AWAY by Sheila O’Flanagan. To enter, please answer the following question correctly:

- 2. Gift vouchers can be redeemed as full or partial payment against any holiday booking with James Villa Holidays Limited. All vouchers must be used in full and no change or voucher credit can be issued.
- 3. The holiday must be booked by 31 August 2021 and can be redeemed for a period of 2 years following the date of issue, or as specified.
- 4. Gift vouchers are not redeemable for cash, cannot be resold, cancelled or exchanged for a refund. Gift vouchers can only be redeemed towards holidays where the voucher holder is travelling. Holiday deposits cannot be paid using gift vouchers. If the full cost of a holiday is due at the time of booking (if booked within 14 weeks of travel), the gift voucher amount will be deducted from the total holiday cost.
- 5. If it becomes necessary to cancel a booking where a gift voucher has been used as full or partial payment, any refund due in respect of the voucher element will be in the form of a new gift voucher up to the original gift voucher value. Normal cancellation terms apply in accordance with James Villa Holidays booking conditions.
- 6. Gift vouchers are sent via email as e-vouchers. Please therefore ensure that you have entered the correct email address and ensure the recipient checks his or her spam folder. James Villa Holidays accepts no responsibility to provide a replacement or refund should the gift voucher be lost or stolen. James Villa Holidays reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions.
- 7. Bookings are subject to availability and James Villas Holidays’ booking terms and conditions and will be confirmed by James Villas Holidays.
- 8. Travel insurance for all guests is the sole responsibility of the winner.
- 9. The winner will be randomly selected from the correct entries received in accordance with these terms and conditions based on the following criteria: you must answer the competition question correctly and agree to the competition terms and conditions. The winner shall be selected by a member of the Headline Publishing Group Limited marketing team, whose decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- 10. There is no purchase necessary to enter.
- 11. The competition opens at 12:01 am GMT on 04/03/2021 and closes at 11:59 pm BST on 04/06/2021. Any entries received outside these specified times and dates will not be eligible for entry into the competition.
- 12. The winner will be informed that they have won by email by 14/06/2021.
- 13. The competition is open to residents of the UK aged 18 or over except employees of the Company, their families, or anyone professionally connected to the competition either themselves or through their families.
- 14. Only one entry per person allowed. Second or subsequent entries will be disqualified. Entries will not be accepted via agents, third parties or in bulk.
- 15. The Company is not responsible for contacting or forwarding prizes to entrants who provide unclear or incomplete information or for entries lost, misdirected, delayed or destroyed.
- 16. The Company reserves the right to alter the prizes or cancel the competition without notice but will try to avoid creating any undue disappointment. No cash alternatives to prizes will be provided. If a winner is unable to accept their prize or cannot be contacted, the Company reserves the right to select another winner.
- 17. The Company will make available the name and county of the winner to anyone who requests this information by writing to the Company at the address shown below.
- 18. The Company is the data controller of Personal Data that it collects in the course of running the competition and will use the Personal Data in accordance with the Company’s Privacy Notice https://www.headline.co.uk/landing-page/privacy-notice-general-headline/. It will use such Personal Data for the purposes of running the competition and delivering any prize(s) and will delete it after a reasonable period from the end of the competition. “Personal Data” means names of entrants and other details provided by them (e.g. email addresses, telephone numbers) for the competition. The Company will not share such Personal Data with any third parties except for the purpose of delivering the prize(s).
- 19. Where entrants have opted-in to receive communications from the Company, the email addresses of entrants will be used by the Company in accordance with its Privacy Notice https://www.headline.co.uk/landing-page/privacy-notice-general-headline/ to send news about books, products and promotions and to invite entrants to participate in surveys. Entrants will be given the option of opting out in those emails if they don’t want to receive any further communications.

Where an entrant has opted in for their personal data to be shared with James Villas Holidays, they agree that the Company may transfer their personal data to that company and that company will be deemed to be the data controller of the personal data transferred to them. They will use the personal data to send news about products and promotions and will use it in accordance with their Privacy Notice https://www.jamesvillas.co.uk/help-and-advice/privacy-notice. The Company will remain the controller of any personal data it retains.
- 21. The prize is supplied directly by James Villas Holidays Limited and neither the Company nor any other member of the Hachette group of companies makes any warranty or claim in respect of it or accepts any liability whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise howsoever in respect of the prize itself. - 22. By entering the competition entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- 23. This competition is being organised by Headline Publishing Group Limited of Carmelite House, 50 Victoria Embankment, London EC4Y 0DZ (“Company”).
- 24. These terms and conditions and any disputes or claims (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of these terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England, whose courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
