Who we are and what we do?
Hachette UK, one of the UK’s leading publishing groups, is seeking an enthusiastic, organised Sales Executive to join the busy Sales Department. This role in the sales team works across our trade publishers, Headline, Hodder & Stoughton, John Murray Press, and Quercus.
What you’ll be doing
This role is all about ensuring that our customers receive the best possible information, selling material and general support.
Key areas of responsibility include processing orders, collating sales materials, managing the stock of events and producing presentations for a variety of UK customers including Waterstones and major independents.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will need to be extremely efficient, able to work on your own initiative and have a determination to get the job done.

We are looking for a true team player, who can make a real contribution to a dynamic department.
It is key that you are passionate about books, but also that you have an eye for detail and the ability to multi-task.
With exceptional organisational, numerical and communication skills and a sound knowledge of all computer packages
