Marketing Assistant – 12 month contract

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to contribute to the success of an ambitious marketing hub within a leading UK publishing company.

The role

This is a newly created role to support the recently formed professional marketing hub within John Murray Press. It’s a fantastic launchpad if you are looking to start a career in marketing, giving you the opportunity to develop your marketing capabilities by getting involved in activities across the full marketing mix.

An entry level role, the Marketing Assistant will provide support to six Marketing Executives and the Head of Professional Marketing by undertaking a wide range of promotional, research and administrative activities to support department goals. Working to drive sales in domestic and international markets, you will work collaboratively with colleagues across different departments, implementing offline and online campaigns. You will also have overall responsibility for the management of the JKP website and blog.
