IT Commercial Manager

Hachette IT work alongside all Hachette UK’s publishing divisions and our Hachette UK Distribution business to achieve our mission to be the publisher of choice for all people through the books we publish and our actions as a company. What you’ll be doing

Within Hachette IT you will be asked to design and deliver the IT purchasing process and major supplier negotiation(s), supporting the IT Leadership Team, to ensure we optimise our IT Operating Expenditure each year. With >£5M invested in IT assets and relationships with Enterprise IT vendors such as SAP, JDA, BT and Dell this role plays a pivotal role in the team.

We are looking for an excellent communicator, possessing the ability to collaborate and coach their colleagues. You must demonstrate trustworthiness, integrity and honesty and have the ability to accept feedback from others positively.

Experience of managing and negotiating with major technology partners strongly preferred and evidence of establishing good working practices within a department ideal.

Salary: £60,000-70,000 with annual pay review each year and discretionary bonus scheme.
