Head of IT Strategy and Portfolio Management

What you’ll be doing

Within Hachette IT you will be asked to design and deliver the governance processes required to ensure the IT Portfolio of technologies, partners, innovation and projects (including acquisitions) are delivered in line with the Hachette UK IT strategy and IT 3 year Business Plan. The role will be a member of the IT Leadership Team and responsible for the execution of the Group IT strategy and development of the division. As a member of the ITLT they will play a major role in fostering an inclusive, positive and productive culture and working climate.

Who we’re looking for

We are looking for an excellent leader, possessing the ability to motivate, re-energise and inspire teams. You must demonstrate trustworthiness, integrity and honesty and have the ability to accept feedback from others positively.

An understanding of all IT functions is ideal and experience in step-changing a governance process within a technology or other service delivery function preferred.

Salary: £65,000-72,000 with annual pay review each year and discretionary bonus scheme.
