What you’ll be doing

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, delivering and measuring on and offline campaigns across Hachette Children’s Group’s pre-school, picture books, series, licensing and young & illustrated fiction and non-fiction list, ranging from established authors and brands to debut launches.

They’ll report to the Senior Marketing Manager and work closely with them, and the rest of the team, to provide support across high profile campaigns as directed. They’ll have specific responsibility for managing the picture book channels and HCG’s PopJam digital channels, with supervision.

Who we’re looking for

The successful candidate will be creative and passionate about marketing in the world of children’s books, with at least 2 years’ experience in marketing, ideally within the publishing industry.

They will be an excellent communicator, have strong copywriting skills, an eye for design and knowledge of all areas of book marketing – from digital to sell in, advertising to partnerships. Some experience of Photoshop or InDesign would be preferable. The successful candidate will have a can-do attitude and be able to effectively manage their time and prioritise their workload.
