We need more books like Chapman and Hall's Dementia that challenge attitudes which see working with older people as an easy option requiring few skills. The book is aimed at social workers, but I think other professionals and volunteers could gain much from reading it... I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn more about dementia itself but also to those who want to develop their skills in working with sufferers and carers.
