I loved writing What Lies Within; it gave me the chance to get beneath the surface of one of my favourite places, Marrakech, and explore what the reality of living there might actually be like.  It’s a book full of twists and turns, much like the city itself, and should keep you guessing right to the end.  Enjoy!

Annabelle Thorpe is an award-winning travel journalist, who has travelled widely in the Middle East and North Africa. She has driven across rural Oman, trekked in Libya, spent time in Lebanon, Jordan, Qatar and the UAE and has been regularly visiting Morocco for over ten years.
