Niki Daly

Niki Daly lives in South Africa with his wife, the illustrator Jude Daly. He was written and illustrated many award-winning picture books, including Why the Sun and Moon Live in the Sky, which was a New York Times Book Review Best Illustrated Book of the Year. He won the Molteno Gold Medal Award for his contribution to English literature in South Africa.
Paul Daly

Paul Daly is a graduate of UCD and also holds a masters degree in Political Communication from DCU. His first job in politics was during the divorce referendum in 1995 and he subsequently worked in the Oireachtas with the Labour Party for seven years. He lives in Dublin where he works as a communications consultant and lecturer.

Tess Daly

Tess Daly worked as a model for ten years before moving to New York where she began to write for the likes of Paper magazine. Tess made her first television presenter appearance on The Big Breakfast in 2000. She has gone on to present numerous shows including ten series of Strictly Come Dancing. Tess writes a weekly fashion column for The Mirror and has her own award winning Daly Beauty range. Her debut novel The Camera Never Lies was published in 2011 following publication of The Baby Diaries in 2010 which documents her journey through motherhood. Her second novel, It's Up to You, New York is published in April 2013 Tess is mum to two daughters Phoebe and Amber.
Willie Daly

Willie Daly thinks he was born on 1 April 1943, though he can't be sure because the priest who recorded the date was 'very fond of the drink'. He has lived in Ballingaddy all of his life, and still lives next door to the 300-year-old cottage where he was born.
Torkil Damhaug

Torkil Damhaug studied literature and anthropology in Bergen, and then medicine in Oslo, specialising in psychiatry. After working as a psychiatrist for many years, he now writes full time. Torkil lives with his wife and children near Oslo.
Emma Damon

Emma Damon trained at Manchester Art School, where she gained a first class honours degree, followed by a MA. Emma's interests include fashion and textiles. She has worked for museums such as the Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco, and the V&A.
Alex Danchev

John Keegan in his review of ALCHEMIST OF WAR in The Spectator described Danchev as "one of the two most brilliant people [he] taught at Sandhurst". He is currently Professor of Politics at the University of Nottingham. In addition to editing the Alanbrooke WAR DIARIES he is the author of an acclaimed life of Basil Liddell hart, ALCHEMIST OF WAR.
Stephen Dando-Collins

Stephen Dando-Collins is a novelist and historian. He is the author of several highly acclaimed works on ancient history including Cleopatra's Kidnappers, Nero's Killing Machine, Mark Antony's Heroes, Caesar's Legion and, most recently, Blood of the Caesars. He lives in Australia.
Lauren Dane

In need of an outlet for her thoughts, Gitty began writing and she hasn't stopped since.Gitty is the author of the middle grade series SCHOOL OF FEAR, SCHOOL OF FEAR 2: CLASS IS NOT DISMISSED and SCHOOL OF FEAR 3: THE FINAL EXAM. She currently lives in New York City with her highly literate English bulldog Harriet. And yes she still talks too much.

Dr Daniel Freeman

Professor Daniel Freeman is one of the UK's leading clinical psychologists. He is a Professor of Clinical Psychology and Medical Research Council (MRC) Senior Clinical Fellow at the University of Oxford. He was awarded the 2008 May Davidson prize by the British Psychological Society which marks 'an outstanding contribution to the development of clinical psychology. A key figure in the latest developments in cognitive behaviour therapy, he teaches clinicians around the world.
Glyn Daniel

Glyn Daniel was born in 1914 and educated at Barry County School and at University College, Cardiff, from which he went to St John's College, Cambridge. He graduated with first class honours and went on to obtain his PhD in 1938. He joined the RAF after the outbreak of the Second World War and served as an Intelligence Officer from 1940 to 1945. He returned to Cambridge after the war and was appointed Disney Professor of Archaeology in 1974. Glyn Daniel died in 1986.
