Judi Dench

Judi Dench is the foremost actress in British theatre. She was first acclaimed in 1960 as the Juliet for her generation, in the controversial Franco Zeffirelli production of ROMEO AND JULIET at the Old Vic. Her stage career has included productions with the RSC, National Theatre, West End and tours all over the world.She has triumphed in great Shakespearean leads, and on television and film, she has won several awards including an Oscar for her Queen Elizabeth I in SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE and a BAFTA for her title role in IRIS. She was made a DBE in 1988 and a Companion of Honour in 2005. Most recently she has starred in a diverse range of films including THE BEST EXOTIC MARIGOLD HOTEL, SKYFALL and the multi-Oscar-nominated PHILOMENA, the hit BBC TV series CRANFORD and alongside Ben Whishaw in PETER AND ALICE on stage in the West End.
Les Dennis

Les Dennis has been one of Britain's most popular entertainers over the last 30 years, making his TV breakthrough on Russ Abbot's Madhouse, before having a hugely successful run as the host of The Laughter Show and Family Fortunes. More recently he has been appearing in more serious dramas, and he made an unforgettable appearance in Extras with Ricky Gervais.

Barbara Dickson

Barbara Dickson was brought up in Dunfermline but soon moved to Edinburgh to follow her musical dream. After a lot of perseverance she finally broke through and became a household name with singles such as 'I Know Him So Well' with Elaine Paige, 'Caravan Song' and 'January February'; she also has a Silver, three Gold and two Platinum-selling albums. Barbara later featured onstage in acclaimed musicals and in TV shows as diverse as The Two Ronnies and Top of the Pops. She still tours annually to play to loyal fans and lives in Lincolnshire with her family.
Jacqueline Doherty

Jacqueline Doherty was born in Liverpool and has worked as a Registered Nurse for 34 years. She is the wife of an army major, a mother of three, and has lived in Germany, Holland, Cyprus, Northern Ireland and throughout England for the past 30 years. Peter Doherty

Aged 16, as winner of a British Council poetry competition, Pete Doherty embarked on poetry tour of Russia. He studied English Literature at the University of London for a year, before forming The Libertines with Carl Barat in the late nineties. They released two albums before falling apart; Babyshambles released 'Down in Albion' in November 2005; the single 'Fuck Forever' reached no.4 in the charts.
