Abi Daker

ABI DAKER is a British illustrator who lives and works in Cyprus with her husband and son. She studied Art at the University of Reading and has since worked on children's books and as an archaeological illustrator; she also specialises in illustrated maps and architectural subjects. Her LONGEST DOT TO DOT books express her passion for exploring the graphic and linear qualities of the world in an imaginative and engaging new way. She also paints and draws the mediterranean landscapes of her home in Paphos.
The Dalai Lama

His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the exiled religious and temporal leader of Tibet and winner of the 1989 Nobel Peace Prize, is recognised internationally as a spiritual leader and statesman. He lives in Dharamsala, India. Nicholas Vreeland has been a practicing Tibetan Buddhist monk since 1985, when he was ordained by the Dalai Lama. Since 1998 he has been the Director of the Tibet Center.
Anthony David

Anthony David is Professor of Cognitive Neuropsychiatry at the IoPPN and a consultant psychiatrist. He set up and heads the Depersonalisation Disorders Clinic at the Maudsley Hospital, London.

Ruth Davidson

Ruth Davidson is the leader of the Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party and the MSP for Edinburgh Central. First elected in 2011, she won the party leadership later that same year, becoming - at the age of 32 - the youngest leader of a major political party anywhere in the UK as well as the first openly gay leader in UK history.Prior to politics, Ruth worked as a journalist. Starting in newspapers, she moved into broadcasting. Caitlin Davies was born in London in 1964. She is the author of five novels and five non-fiction books, and has worked as a teacher and freelance journalist for 25 years. In 1989 she moved to Botswana where she worked for the country's first tabloid newspaper, the Voice, and later as editor of the Okavango Observer. She received a Journalist of the Year award.
