Mwenye Hadithi was born in Nairobi in a rambling brick and wood house surrounded by ten acres. His early life was full of animals. He attended London University, studying languages and foreign literature. When his first attempts at short stories and radio plays were sold immediately, he decided to be the next great African Writer.

Rachael Hale is an internationally acclaimed photographer, who has won numerous awards for her portraits. Since 1995, her images have been published on calendars, posters, greeting cards, and stationery in over 60 countries. She lives in Auckland, New Zealand, with her partner Andrew, three cats, and a Dalmatian Boxer-cross.
Meredith Hamilton

Meredith Hamilton graduated from Brown University and has an MFA from the School of Visual Arts. Formerly an art director at Newsweek and Time, she illustrated the previous six books in the Child's Introduction series, among other books, and her work can be found in magazines and animations as well. She lives in Brooklyn, New York, with her husband and three children.Laura Lee is currently producing a U.S. tour of the Russian Classical Ballet. Charlotte Haptie

Charlotte Haptie has wanted to be a writer since she was seven, but has had a number of more sensible jobs in between. Her first literary success and only publication before Otto and the Flying Twins was the sale of an idea for a Valentine's card. She was brought up in Buckinghamshire and Merseyside, and now lives in Scotland.

Sophie Hardcastle is an author and artist currently studying a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Sydney College of the Arts, majoring in painting. Sophie's memoir, Running like China, is published by Hachette and was released in September 2015. Her debut novel, Breathing Under Water, was published by Hachette in July 2016.In addition to her books, Sophie has written for various magazines, including ELLE, Harper's Bazaar and Surfing World, and has also written for theatre. Sophie is now a mental health spokesperson for Batyr. She shares her experiences with bipolar 1 disorder by speaking in schools around the country. Sophie was recently named as one of Triple j's '25 Under 25 who are nailing it!'.
