Gregor Dallas is an acclaimed historian of the ending of wars. He is the author of 1815: The Roads to Waterloo, 1918: WAR AND PEACE, POISONED PEACE: 1945 - THE WAR THAT NEVER ENDED, and has written as well on Paris (METROSTOP PARIS), rural life in France, and on Clemenceau. Educated in Britain and the USA, he now lives near Paris.

He published his first Fantasy trilogy, consisting of Necromancer's Gambit (2008), Necromancer's Betrayal (2009) and Necromancer's Fall (2010), to great acclaim.

L. Sprague de Camp

Lyon Sprague de Camp was born in 1907 and died in 2000. During a writing career that spanned seven decades, he wrote over a hundred books in the areas of science fiction, fantasy, historical fiction, non-fiction and biography. Although arguably best known for his continuation of Robert E. Howard's Conan stories, de Camp was an important figure in the formative period of modern SF, alongside the likes of Isaac Asimov and Robert A. Heinlein, and was a winner of the Hugo, World Fantasy Life Achievement and SFWA Grand Master awards.

Stephen Deas

Stephen Deas was born in 1968. He once set fire to Wales. Well one bit of Wales. Twice. When not burning principalities, he played too much D&D. Despite this he managed to study theoretical physics at Cambridge, get a job at BAE, marry and have two children. He has written several novels in the fantasy, YA and crime genres. With Gavin Smith he co-writes SF novels, including a tie-in for the Elite Dangerous game. He lives in Essex with his family.

Rupert has lent his voice to numerous cartoons, including Mr Bean, Robotboy, Gumball, Thomas & Friends and Bob the Builder and has performed in over fifty radio productions for BBC Radio 4, including The Brightonomicon and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Anna del Conte

Anna Del Conte is one of the greatest living experts on Italian food. Born in Milan, she read History and Philosophy before leaving for London in 1949 where she quickly became the first cookery writer in England to specialise in Italian food. John Dickie is Professor of Italian Studies at University College London and an internationally recognised expert on many aspects of Italian history. In 2005 he was awarded the title Commendatore dell'Ordine della Stella della Solidarietà Italiana. He is the author of five books, including DELIZIA! which won the special commendation André Simon Food and Drink Book Awards, and in France was voted food book of the year in RTL/Lire magazine's prestigious poll. COSA NOSTRA, his history of the Sicilian mafia, has been translated into twenty-one languages, has sold over 750,000 copies, and won the Crime Writers' Association Award for Non-Fiction.
Clarissa Dickson Wright

She is also a passionate supporter of the Countryside Alliance and of rural life. She lives a little in London but mostly in Scotland.
