Martin H. Manser
Martin H. Manser has been a professional reference book editor since 1980. He has compiled or edited more than 150 reference books, particularly English-language dictionaries, thesauruses, and Bible reference titles. He is also a language trainer and consultant with national companies and organizations. He and his wife live in Aylesbury and have a son and a daughter.
Dr Jan Marsh is a recognised authority on the Pre-Raphaelite circle. Educated at Cambridge and Sussex, she lectures and broadcasts widely as well as writing biography and cultural history.
Christopher Matthew is the author of Now We Are Sixty, When We Were Fifty, The Man Who Dropped the Le Creuset on his Toe and Dog Treats. He lives in London and Suffolk.
Eleanor Mills is the editor of the News Review section of the Sunday Times, the UK's most popular broadsheet. She trained to be a journalist on the Guardian and Observer where she was the only woman trainee in the newsroom. She then moved to the Daily Telegraph where she became the youngest features editor in the paper's history, before joining the Sunday Times in 1998.
Brian Murray read English at Glasgow University and was a teacher in the West of Scotland. With Archie Bevon he has been editing the unpublished and uncollected work of George Mackay Brown - seven volumes to date, with an eighth just completed. Like his daughter Rowena, he was a long-term friend of the writer.
