Publicity Manager

Headline Publishing Group, part of Hachette UK, the UK’s leading book publisher, is looking for a Publicity Manager to join Headline’s Press Office, reporting to the Communications Director, with full ownership of their authors and campaigns. We need a responsible, enthusiastic, well-organised person who is really committed to the job and will relish the opportunity to travel with authors, attending a range of events, sometimes at weekends. Ideal candidates will already be working at Press Officer or Senior Press Officer level.

Business Analyst

Hachette UK are looking to recruit a Business Analyst to work in their Solutions Team within the IT Department. The purpose of the role is to investigate and analyse business process requirements with the aim of making them as efficient as possible by utilising the available IT systems. The main systems used across the Hachette Enterprise include Biblio3 (publishing system), SAP (finance) and Vista (distribution).

Six titles from across the Hachette group have been selected to be given away for World Book Night 2013, in a list of titles which aims to promote accessibility with a selection of twenty titles, down from last year's twenty-five. The list includes a graphic novel and a Quick Reads title, and the event will also return to the USA, having debuted there last year.
