    Orion Fiction is looking for a Digital Editor to launch and manage a commercial fiction digital-only list. Reporting to the Publishing Director you will be responsible for launching and shaping a digital-only publishing list, acquiring strategically and commercially. You will have experience of commissioning and publishing commercial fiction, and will have a strong knowledge of digital publishing. You will be happy working quickly and proactively and will be able to drive the publishing of the list, with the aim of delivering digital bestsellers.

    A key contact between the art team and the rest of the company, your responsibilities will include managing workflow and ensuring that book covers meet deadlines at each stage of the production process. You will oversee all operational and administrative duties relating to the creative team including running reports and uploading images onto our Biblio system, processing invoices, taking minutes and working closely with other departments to ensure deadlines are met.

You’ll have a diverse remit working across bestselling authors such as Chris Ryan, Liani Taylor, Sabine Durrant, Oli White and Erin Kelly, running consumer-facing communities, managing social accounts and devising and implementing multi-layered campaigns.
