The Hodder Education Group is a vibrant and growing business within Hachette UK.  Over the past few years it has succeeded in winning market share through curriculum change in the UK, and has significantly grown its international business in a wide range of markets.  RS Assessment from Hodder Education is the new brand which brings together Rising Stars and Hodder Education’s highly popular assessment resources.

We are looking to appoint a Senior Marketing Executive to join the vibrant educational marketing team with list responsibilities covering primary and secondary assessment. Once in post you will contribute to the marketing strategy of the list, managing and implementing innovative marketing campaigns which build and retain a loyal customer base within primary and secondary schools in the UK.

Commercially aware and genuinely creative, you will already have experience of successfully running print and digital marketing campaigns, which have resulted in impressive sales. The role is varied and requires proficiency in all elements of the marketing mix on and offline:

Key responsibilities

  • -Planning and executing high-impact campaigns to schedule and within budget
  • -Writing persuasive and effective marketing copy that reflects the brand’s tone of voice
  • -Analysing results and updating forward plans accordingly
  • -Managing and implementing innovative social media campaigns 
  • -Ensuring best user experience across purchase and access to products and services
  • -Contributing to new product development proposals
  • -Interrogation of CRM data
  • -Effective budget management

 

The ideal candidate will have worked in a busy marketing department and should be able to demonstrate campaign success. Previous experience marketing to schools is a bonus. In return we offer a creative and dynamic working environment and a competitive salary and benefits package.
