Recruiting For Two Positions.

The Hodder Education Group is a vibrant and growing business within Hachette UK.  Over the past few years it has succeeded in winning market share through curriculum change in the UK. The company is the two-time winner of the British Book Industry Awards sponsored by the Bookseller (2015 and 2016); on both occasions the judges commented on the energy and dynamism evident within Hodder Education, making it “obviously a great place to work”.

We are looking to appoint two experienced and self-motivated Marketing Managers/Senior Marketing Executives to work on marketing strategy and campaigns for the Rising Stars and Hodder Education lists.

Commercially aware and genuinely creative, you will already have experience of developing and successfully running multi-channel marketing campaigns, which have resulted in impressive sales. The role is varied and requires expertise in all elements of the marketing mix on and offline.

Key responsibilities

  • - Planning and executing high-impact campaigns to schedule and within budget
  • - Writing persuasive and effective marketing copy that reflects the brand’s tone of voice
  • - Analysing results and updating forward plans accordingly
  • - Ensuring best user experience across purchase and access to products and services
  • - Contributing to product development proposals
  • - Interrogation of CRM data
  • - Effective budget management

 

The ideal candidate will have worked in a busy marketing department and should be able to demonstrate campaign success. Previous experience of the education market is a essential  and knowledge of assessment within the education industry is also desirable.
