Octopus Publishing Group is a leading publisher of illustrated books. The group is comprised of ten imprints, each with their own identity, but all publishing consumer-focused and highly successful titles for their markets. As a group we have over 40 years’ experience working with high-profile authors and trusted partners and associations to produce exciting, market-leading books. Australian Women’s Weekly has been published in the UK by Octopus since 2010. With over 70 million cookbooks sold, the AWW brand guarantees utter reliability – every recipe is triple-tested – and a fantastic range of contemporary titles covering the modern cook’s every need.

Bounty is a major supplier of bargain books to the promotional market. Founded in the early 1980’s it was the first reprint company set up specifically to reprint and sell backlist material. It draws on the vast range of product from all the divisions in the Octopus Group.

Cassell Illustrated publishes popular culture, history, entertainment, sport and contemporary reference titles. One of Cassell’s most notable strands is the 1001 series, which includes titles such 1001 Movies to See Before You Die.

Conran Octopus was founded by Sir Terence Conran and Paul Hamlyn to publish cutting-edge books of the very highest quality in both content and design. Subject areas include cookery, interior design, gardening and crafts and that core philosophy remains unchanged. Conran Octopus always works with the very best names in the field including Leon, Allegra McEvedy, OrlaKiely, the Design Museum and of course Sir Terence Conran himself.

Hamlyn, founded in 1950 by Paul Hamlyn, is one of the most well-known names in illustrated publishing producing practical, informative and inspiring books.
