Hachette scoops top fiction prizes at Bord Gáis Energy Irish Book Awards 201118/11/2011
The Hughes & Hughes Irish Novel of the Year was won by Neil Jordan for his novel Mistaken (John Murray) and The Eason Popular Fiction Book of the Year was won by Sheila O’Flanagan forher novel All for You (Headline Review).
Mistaken by Neil Jordan, published earlier this year, was a number one bestseller. Eileen Battersby said in the Irish Times: ‘Irish fiction needed a cohesively great novel, pulsing with darkness, intelligence and revelation. Here it is.’
All for You is another fabulously addictive novel about mothers and daughters, family secrets and finding happy ever after from number one bestselling author Sheila O’Flanagan.
